Charandas is a 1977 Hindi-language Drama Family motion picture directed by B.s. Thapa and produced by Kanwar Mahender Singh Bedi. The entire plot is woven around Indian family values, enterprise and meteoric rise in business. Charandas stars Om Prakash, Lakshmi, Vikram Makandar, Urmila Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Nana Palsikar. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan. It was released on 20th October 1977.
