Follow National Geographic photographer James Balog across the Arctic as he deploys time-lapse cameras designed for one purpose: to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers. Chasing ice stars James Balog, Svavar Jónatansson, Louie Psihoyos, Kitty Boone, Sylvia Earle, Dennis Dimick and Richard Ward. The music was composed by J. Ralph. Cinematography was done by Jeff Orlowski and editing by Davis Coombe. The movie has a running time of 75 min. It was released on 14th December 2012 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The movie made a box office gross of $1 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Submarine Deluxe. At the 2012 Sundance Film Festival It won an award for Documentary.
