Chauranga is a 2016 Hindi-language Drama film written and directed by Bikas Ranjan Mishra and produced by Onir, Sanjay Suri and Mohan Mulani under the banner of Anticlock Films. A fourteen year old Dalit (lower caste) boy in rural India is killed for writing a love letter. Chauranga features Sanjay Suri, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Soham Maitra, Riddhi Sen, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Delzad Hiwale and Swatilekha Sengupta. Cinematography was done by Ramanuj Dutta. The film has a running time of 88 minutes. It was released on 8th January 2016. The film made a box office gross of ₹9 lakh. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Anticlock Films.
