Chettayees is a 2012 Malayalam-language Family Comedy film written by Shajoon Karyal and Sachy. The movie is directed by Shajoon Karyal and Shajoon Kariyal and produced by Biju Menon, Shajoon Karyal, Suresh Krishna, P. Sukumar, Sachy and Shajoon Kariyal under the banner of Thakkaali Films. The story is centered on an eventful New Year celebration of five friends and the sequence of events following it in the next few days. Chettayees stars Biju Menon in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Suresh Krishna, P. Sukumar, Sunil Babu, Arun Lal, Miya George and Ponnamma Babu. The music was composed by Deepak Dev. Cinematography was done by Vinod Illampally and editing by Bijith Bala. It was released on 30th November 2012. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Kalasangham Films.
