Chhupa Rustam is a 1973 Hindi-language Action Thriller movie written by Vijay Anand, Kaushal Bharati and Suraj Sanim. The movie is directed by Vijay Anand and produced by Vijay Anand. The Government of India had granted Rs.50,000/- to Prof. Harbanslal to conduct a study in the mountains bordering Tibet with India.. Chhupa rustam stars Dev Anand in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ajit, Prem Chopra, A.k. Hangal, Hema Malini, Vijay Anand and Bindu Desai. The music was composed by Sachin Dev Burman. Cinematography was done by V. Ratra and editing by Vijay Anand. It was released on 7th May 1973. The Film was successful at box office. Chhupa Rustam was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Navketan International Films.
