Chitra Pournami is a 1976 Tamil-language Drama movie written by Bala Murugan and Balamurugan. The movie is directed by P. Madhavan and produced by R. M. Subramaniyan, K. R. Srinivasan and N. Naga Subramaniyan under the banner of Sri Bhuvaneswari Movies. Chitra pournami features Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa, C. R. Vijayakumari, R. Muthuraman, Shivaji Ganesan, J Jayalalitha and C.r. Vijayakumari. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Cinematography was done by P. N. Sundaram and editing by R. Devarajan. It was released on 7th January 1976.
