Christmas in August is a 1998 Korean-language Drama Romance movie written by Jin-ho Hur, Seung-uk Oh, Dong-hwan Shin, Oh Seung-uk, Shin Dong-hwan and Hur Jin-ho. The movie is directed by Jin-ho Hur and Hur Jin-ho and produced by Cha Seung-jae. Hahn Suk-Kyu suffers from a fatal disease. He meets Shim Eun-Ha and falls in love with her. What will be the fate of this love - will it be a tragic ending?. Christmas in august stars Han Suk-kyu in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Shim Eun-ha, Suk-kyu Han, Eun-ha Shim, Goo Shin, Ji-hye Oh and Han-wi Lee.
