Corsair is a 1931 English-language Adventure movie directed by Roland West and produced by Roland West. A stock market broker plans to liven up his boring life by taking up piracy on the high seas. Corsair features Chester Morris in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Alison Loyd, Thelma Todd, Fred Kohler, Ned Sparks, Emmett Corrigan and William Austin. The screenplay is written by Josephine Lovett and Roland West which is inspired from Walton Green's Corsair. The music was composed by Alfred Newman. Cinematography was done by Ray June and editing by Hal C. Kern. The movie has a running time of 75 minutes. It was released on 28th November 1931. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by United Artists.
