Darling is a 2014 Kannada-language Drama Romance film written by Santhu, Kamlesh Pandey and Alok Upadhyay. The movie is directed by Santhu and Yogesh Ishwar and produced by Dr. D. Ramanaidu. Sathya, a tattoo artist, falls in love with Poorni but he lands in trouble when Poorni turns out to be Don Bhavani's sister. Sathya ks Bhavani's rival Gubbi's help to unite with Poorni. But his world turns upside down when Gubbi also falls in love with Poorni. How will Sathya fight Bhavani and Gubbi to get back his love?. Darling features Sunil Shetty in the lead role along with Sushmita Sen, Namrata Shirodkar and Muktha Elsa George in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Nikhil Saini. The music was composed by Arjun Janya along with Anu Malik, and M. M. Srilekha. Cinematography was done by Shyam K. Naidu and editing by K. V. Krishna Reddy. The film has a running time of 160 mins. It was released on 31st January 2014. Darling was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Suresh Productions.
