Deception is a 2008 English-language Crime Drama movie written by Mark Bomback and directed by Marcel Langenegger and produced by Robbie Brenner, David Bushell, Christopher Eberts, Hugh Jackman, John Palermo and Arnold Rifkin under the banner of Media Rights Capital. An accountant is introduced to a mysterious sex club known as The List by his lawyer friend. But in this new world, he soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman's disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist. Deception features Hugh Jackman in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Ewan Mcgregor, Michelle Williams, Bruce Altman, Andrew Ginsburg, Stephanie Roth Haberle and Christine Kan. The music was composed by Ramin Djawadi. Cinematography was done by Dante Spinotti and editing by Douglas Crise and Christian Wagner. The movie has a running time of 108 minutes. It was released on 26th June 2008. Deception was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $17 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by 20th Century Fox.
