Deedar is a 1992 Hindi-language Family Action motion picture written by Sachin Bhowmick and Mir Muneer. The movie is directed by Pramod Chakravorty and produced by Pramod Chakravorty and Lakshmi Chakravorty under the banner of Shashi Sumeet Productions. Multi-millionaire businessman Kailashnath Malhotra lives in his bungalow with his wife Sunanda and an only son.. Deedar stars Akshay Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Laxmikant Berde, Karisma Kapoor, Anjana Mumtaz and Harbans Darshan M Arora. The music was composed by Anand-milind. Cinematography was done by V.K. Murthy and editing by Praful Vyas. It was released on 14th August 1992.
