After their mother ends up in jail, two sisters turn to train robbery in order to support their family. Deidra & laney rob a train features Ashleigh Murray in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Rachel Crow, Tim Blake Nelson, David Sullivan, Danielle Nicolet, Sasheer Zamata and Lance Gray. The music was composed by Mark Orton. Cinematography was done by Quyen Tran and editing by Michael Taylor. It was released on 17th March 2017 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Netflix.
