Devadas is a 1989 Malayalam-language Drama Romance film written by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay and Thoppil Bhasi. The movie is directed by Crossbelt Mani and produced by M. Samuel and Ponnambalam Sedu. Devadas stars Venu Nagavally in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Ramya Krishna, Madhu, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Parvathy Jayaram and Ramya Krishnan. The music was composed by K. Raghavan along with Mohan Sithara and P Bhaskaran. It was released on 11th February 1989. Devadas was made on a budget of ₹20 lakh.
