Arrambam is a 2013 Tamil-language Action Drama motion picture written by Subha, A.n. Balakrishnan, D. Suresh and Vishnuvardhan. The movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by A Raghuram, A. M. Rathnam and A. Raghuram under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Movies. A mysterious man along with a young computer hacker tries to unveil a major government conspiracy which resulted in several bloody deaths. Arrambam stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Arya, Nayantara, Taapsee Pannu, Nayanthara Kurian, Rana Daggubati and Mahesh Manjrekar. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography was done by Om Prakash and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The film has a running time of 158 minutes. It was released on 31st October 2013. The Film was successful at box office. Arrambam was made on a budget of ₹60 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹124 crore. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Ayngaran International.
