Diary is a 2009 telugu-language Mystery motion picture directed by Machakanti Rama Krishna and produced by Kalyan Ram Chukka under the banner of Ayngaran International Films. Diary features Shraddha Das, Sivaji Sontineni, Sujatha and Sreedhar Rao. The screenplay is written by Aroon and Kalyan Ram Chukka. The music was composed by Anand. Cinematography was done by Srinivasa Reddy and editing by Gowtam Raju. It was released on 22nd May 2009. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Ayngaran International. Vamsi (Sivaji) buys a pre-owned and fully furnished beach house in Vizag. He saves a dancing girl Maya (Shraddha Das) from a goon in a local gathering. She stays along with Vamsi in his house that night as its raining heavily. As they explore the house, they find a diary written in 2002. They find out that it was written a previous owner, whose wife gets killed and she is rumored to be staying there as a ghost. The events in the diary start happening to this pair. The rest of the story is about unlocking the mystery behind the house.
