A kind-hearted, widowed landlord, Thakur, lives a wealthy lifestyle with his son, Ramesh; daughter, Roopa; and an adopted child.. Dil diya dard liya stars Dilip Kumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Waheeda Rehman, Pran Krishan Sikand, Rehman Khan, Sajjan, Rani and Johnny Walker.
