Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist is a 2005 English-language Drama Horror motion picture written by William Wisher Jr. and Caleb Carr. The movie is directed by Paul Schrader and produced by James G. Robinson under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions. Years before Father Lankester Merrin helped save Regan MacNeil's soul, he first encounters the demon Pazuzu in East Africa. Merrin's initial battle with Pazuzu leads to the rediscovery of his faith.
