Double Agent is a 2003 Korean-language Action Thriller film written and directed by Hyeon-jeong Kim and Kim Hyeon-jeong and produced by Koo Bon-han and Han Seon-kyu. A North Korean diplomat defects to the South during the Dold War, but the South Koreans have their suspicions as to whether he is an actual defector or a double agent. Double agent features Han Suk-kyu in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ko So-young, Suk-kyu Han, So-young Ko, Ho-jin Chun, Jae-ho Song and Jirí Novotný. The music was composed by Michael Staudacher. Cinematography was done by Kim Sung-bok and editing by Kim Sang-bum and Kim Jae-bum. The movie has a running time of 123 minutes. It was released on 24th January 2003. The film made a box office gross of $8 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Showbox.
