Dracula 2000 is a 2000 English-language Action Fantasy film written by Joel Soisson and Patrick Lussier. The movie is directed by Patrick Lussier and produced by W.k. Border and Joel Soisson under the banner of Dimension Films in collaboration with Neo Art & Logic. A group of thieves break into a chamber expecting to find paintings, but instead they release the count himself, who travels to New Orleans to find his nemesis' daughter, Mary Van Helsing. Dracula 2000 stars Jonny Lee Miller, Justine Waddell, Gerard Butler, Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Esposito, Danny Masterson and David Wyndorf. The screenplay is written by Joel Soisson, Scott Derrickson, Ehren Kruger and Paul Harris Boardman which is inspired from Dracula by Bram Stoker. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami. Cinematography was done by Peter Pau and editing by Peter Devaney Flanagan and Patrick Lussier. The movie has a running time of 99 minutes. Dracula 2000 was made on a budget of $54 million and at the box office it grossed only $47 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Miramax Films.
