Dreamcatcher is a 2003 English-language Drama Horror film written by Stephen King, William Goldman and Lawrence Kasdan. The movie is directed by Lawrence Kasdan and produced by Lawrence Kasdan, Charles Okun and Mark Kasdan. Friends on a camping trip discover that the town they're vacationing in is being plagued in an unusual fashion by parasitic aliens from outer space. Dreamcatcher features Morgan Freeman in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Thomas Jane, Jason Lee, Damian Lewis, Timothy Olyphant, Tom Sizemore and Donnie Wahlberg. The screenplay is written by William Goldman and Lawrence Kasdan which is inspired from Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
