Dumbo is a 1941 English-language Animation Drama motion picture directed by Tim Burton, Ben Sharpsteen and Norman Ferguson and produced by Walt Disney under the banner of Walt Disney Productions. The stork delivers a baby elephant to Mrs. Jumbo, veteran of the circus, but the newborn is ridiculed because of his truly enormous ears and dubbed Dumbo. After being separated from his mother, Dumbo is relegated to the circus' clown acts; it is up to his only friend, a mouse, to assist Dumbo to achieve his full potential. Written by Tim Pickett. Dumbo stars Edward Brophy in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Herman Bing, Margaret Wright, Sterling Holloway, Verna Felton, Cliff Edwards and James Baskett. The film is based on Dumbo the Flying Elephant by Helen Aberson Harold Pearl. The music was composed by Frank Churchill along with Oliver Wallace. The motion picture has a running time of 64 minutes. It was released on 31st October 1941 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Dumbo was made on a budget of $170 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
