Ed Wood is a 1994 English-language Biography Comedy motion picture written by Rudolph Grey, Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. The movie is directed by Tim Burton and produced by Tim Burton and Denise Di Novi under the banner of Touchstone Pictures. Ambitious but troubled movie director, Edward D. Wood Jr, tries his best to fulfill his dream, despite his lack of support. Ed wood stars Johnny Depp in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Martin Landau, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patricia Arquette, Jeffrey Jones, Bill Murray and G.d. Spradlin. The screenplay is written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski which is inspired from Nightmare of Ecstasy: The Life and Art of Edward D. Wood Jr. by Rudolph Grey. The music was composed by Howard Shore. Cinematography was done by Stefan Czapsky and editing by Chris Lebenzon. The motion picture has a running time of 127 minutes. It was released on 7th October 1994 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Ed Wood was made on a budget of $18 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million.
