Ek dil sao afsane stars Raj Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Lalita Pawar, Sulochana Chatterjee, Mridula Rani, Mehar Banu and Ratan Gaurang. The music was composed by Shankar-jaikishan. It was released on 1st January 1963. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Talwar Films.
