EMI is a 2008 hindi-language Comedy Crime motion picture written by Shabbir Ahmed, Khalid Azmi, Shakeel Azmi, Moortuza Borsadi, Hamza Faruqui, Saurabh Kabra, Sarim Momin, Nitin Raikwar, T. Govinda Rajan, Amar Valentine and Junaid Wasi. The movie is directed by Saurabh Kabra and Sanjay Khanna and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Sunil Shetty and Shabbir Boxwala. Criminal don-aspiring politician Shabbirbhai runs a collection agency in Mumbai's Bhendi Bazar called 'Good Luck Recovery'.. Emi features Sanjay Dutt in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, Urmila Matondkar, Malaika Arora, Malaika Arora Khan, Arun Bakshi and Aashish Chaudhary. The music was composed by Chirantan Bhatt along with Sanjoy Chowdhury. Cinematography was done by Paramvir Singh and editing by Anand Subaya. It was released on 7th November 2008. EMI was made on a budget of ₹17 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Balaji Motion Pictures.
