FANomenon is a 2013 English-language Documentary Adventure film. Fanomenon features John Barrowman, Susan Beckner, Dan Carroll, Lynne Carter, Chad Colvin, Ashley Eckstein and Martin Wood. It was released on 12th October 2013. Fanomenon follows rural retail worker Suzie as she goes on a quest to meet her hero, a fictional space explorer. She journeys through the world of science-fiction fandom, and discovers much than she is looking for. Middle-aged women make up a large yet inconspicuous community of fans.
