Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a 2005 Japanese-language Animation Action motion picture written by Kazushige Nojima and directed by Tetsuya Nomura and Takeshi Nozue and produced by Yoshinori Kitase, Shinji Hashimoto and Ichiro Hazama under the banner of Visual Works. An ex-mercenary is forced out of isolation when three mysterious men kidnap and brainwash the city's children afflicted with the Geostigma disease. Final fantasy vii: advent children features Takahiro Sakurai in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Ayumi Ito, Kenichi Suzumura, Showtaro Morikubo, Maaya Sakamoto, Toshiyuki Morikawa and Sh Go Suzuki. The music was composed by Nobuo Uematsu. Cinematography was done by Yasuharu Yoshizawa and editing by Keiichi Kojima. The movie has a running time of 101 minutes. It was released on 14th September 2005. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Square Enix.
