Fire in the Dark is a 1991 English-language Drama movie. A 75-year old widow with battles herself as she struggles with being a burden to those she loves. Though determined not to rely on her children, she is forced to move in with her daughter after a serious fall, and the family learns to face the future with dignity and hope. Fire in the dark features Olympia Dukakis in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Lindsay Wagner, Jean Stapleton, Ray Wise, George Hearn, Joan Leslie and Paul Scherrer. It was released on 6th October 1991.
