Foxfire is a 1996 English-language Drama motion picture written by Joyce Carol Oates and Elizabeth White. The movie is directed by Annette Haywood-carter and produced by Jeffrey Lurie, John Bard Manulis and John P. Marsh under the banner of Chestnut Hill Productions in collaboration with Red Mullet Productions and Rysher Entertainment. The story of five teenage girls who form an unlikely bond after beating up a teacher who has sexually harassed them. They build a solid friendship but their wild ways begin to get out of control. Written by Josh Pasnak. Foxfire features Hedy Burress in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Angelina Jolie, Jenny Lewis, Jenny Shimizu, Sarah Rosenberg, Peter Facinelli and Dash Mihok. The music was composed by Michel Colombier. Cinematography was done by Newton Thomas Sigel and editing by Louise Innes. The motion picture has a running time of 102 minutes.
