Funny Face is a 1957 English-language Comedy Musical movie written by Leonard Gershe and directed by Stanley Donen and produced by Roger Edens. An impromptu fashion shoot at a book store brings about a new fashion model discovery in the shop clerk. Funny face stars Audrey Hepburn in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Fred Astaire, Kay Thompson, Michel Auclair, Robert Flemyng, Dovima and Suzy Parker. The music was composed by Adolph Deutsch along with George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin and Roger Edens. Cinematography was done by Ray June and editing by Frank Bracht. The film has a running time of 103 minutes. Funny Face was made on a budget of $3 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Paramount Pictures.
