Gam yuk fung wan II: To faan is a 1991 Cantonese-language Action Crime movie written by Nam Yin and directed by Ringo Lam and produced by Karl Maka under the banner of Golden Princess Film Production in collaboration with Cinema City & Films Co. Gam yuk fung wan ii: to faan features Chow Yun-fat in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Chen Sung-young, Yu Li, Tommy Wong, Victor Hon, Elvis Tsui and Wan Yeung-ming. The music was composed by Lowell Lo. Cinematography was done by Andy Fan and Chan Hon-wing and editing by Tony Chow. The movie has a running time of 109 minutes. It was released on 22nd June 1991. The film made a box office gross of $24 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Golden Princess Amusement. Ching is a prisoner in a Honk Kong jail that has a large population of Mainland Chinese prisoners. Ching escapes to his young son, who he has been put in an orphanage. He surrenders himself to authorities, but the vengeful chief of security, Zau, arranges for Ching to be set up in the eyes of the Mainland gang, led by the affable Dragon. Dragon and Ching both then escape separately, and while fugitives, hook up together and bond. Ching is recaptured and instigates a riot to save his own hide from the Mainlanders. In the chaos Ching gets revenge on Skull (who, working with Zau, set him up) and Zau. Written by Scott Hamilton
