Geethanjali is a 1989 Telugu-language Drama Romance motion picture written by Rajashri Raju, Mani Ratnam and Ilaiyaraaja. The movie is directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by C. Praveen Kumar Reddy, P. R. Prasad and C. L. Narasa Reddy. Gitanjali and Prakash, two terminally ill people with six months of life left, fall in love. Geethanjali features Akkineni Nagarjuna, Girija Shettar, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Vijayakumar, Radhabai, Sumitra and Sumithra. The screenplay is written by Mani Ratnam.
