Geroy is a 2016 Russian-language Action Drama film written by Nataliya Doroshkevich and Olga Pogodina-kuzmina. The movie is directed by Yuriy Vasilev and produced by Elmira Ainulova, Maria Juromskaya and Natalia Doroshkevich under the banner of Fond Kino in collaboration with Mosfilm. Andrey Kulikov (Dima Bilan) goes to Paris to visit the grave of his great-grandfather, Andrey Dolmatov, who had been an officer in the White Army during the Russian Revolution. On the headstone of the grave next to his great-grandfather's, he notices the face of a young woman. Later, while walking through Paris, Andrey s a woman, Vera (Svetlana Ivanova), who looks just like the young woman he had n on the headstone. And so begins the telling of two love stories, separated by three generations and one hundred years. Written by Anna Arutyunova. Geroy stars Dima Bilan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Svetlana Ivanova, Aleksandr Adabashyan, Aleksandr Baluev, Marat Basharov, Aleksandr Golovin and Jurgita Jurkute. The music was composed by Eduard Artemyev. Cinematography was done by Ramunas Greicius. The motion picture has a running time of 86 minutes. It was released on 31st March 2016. Geroy was made on a budget of $7 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Cultural Solidarity Media.
