Ghar Ki Izzat is a 1994 Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie written by Kader Khan and Anjaan. The movie is directed by Kalpataru and Kalptaru and produced by Kanu Chauhan under the banner of Raj Sun Films. Rambabu is the eldest of four sons in this family. He has brought up his three younger brothers, Shyam, Sohan, and Mohan, with love and fatherly care together with his wife, Sita. Sita has a younger sister, Gita, who also lives with them, is a child-widow. Ram does not approve of anyone refering to Gita as such. Ram decides that it is time for Shyam and Sohan to get married, and he picks their brides for them. Shyam marries Mona, and Sohan marries Sheela. With the entry of these two new wives, the equilibrium of love and respect is disrupted, as both want control and demand respect, which leads to clashes and quarrels all round, and changes in the lives of all the inhabitants. Written by rAjOo ( Ghar ki izzat stars Rishi Kapoor, Kader Khan, Asha Parekh, Juhi Chawla, Anita Raj, Jeetendra Kapoor and Sunil Dhawan. The screenplay is written by Keshav Rathod and Kalptaru which is inspired from Banga Kora. The music was composed by Amar Biswas along with Utpal Biswas and Amar-utpal. Editing was done by Anil-Kamal. The motion picture has a running time of 133 minutes. It was released on 16th December 1994. Ghar Ki Izzat was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹84 lakh.
