Gharaonda is a 1977 Hindi-language Drama Romance film written by Bhimsain Khurana, Gulzar Kalra, Jaidev Verma, Dr. Shankar Shesh and Bhushan Banmali. The movie is directed by Bhimsain Khurana and produced by Bhimsain Khurana. A story young, middle-class urban working couple wanting to get married and their tribulations in finding a house in the city of Mumbai. Gharaonda stars Amol Palekar, Zarina Wahab, Dr. Shreeram Lagoo, Sadhu Meher, Shreeram Lagoo, Jalal Agha and Yasmin. The music was composed by National Award winner Jaidev Verma. Cinematography was done by Apurba Kishore Bir and editing by Waman B. Bhosle. It was released on 25th January 1984.
