Ging chaat goo si is a 1985 Cantonese-language Action Comedy movie written by Jackie Chan and Edward Tang. The movie is directed by Jackie Chan and produced by Raymond Chow and Leonard Ho under the banner of Golden Way Films Ltd. Ging chaat goo si features Jackie Chan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung, Chor Yuen, Charlie Cho, Kwok-hung Lam and Bill Tung. The music was composed by Michael Lai along with Tang Siu Lam, Kevin Bassinson and J. Peter Robinson. Cinematography was done by Cheung Yiu Cho and editing by Peter Cheung. The motion picture has a running time of 100 minutes. It was released on 14th December 1985. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Golden Harvest. Kevin Chan (aka Jackie) is a Hong-Kong cop, who scores his first big hit by virtually single-handedly capturing and arresting a big drug- lord. Of course, the drug-lord isn't too happy about this, and frames Kevin with the murder of another cop (who happened to be on the take).
