Gundaraj is a 1995 Hindi-language Action Drama movie written by Robin Henry and Anees Bazmee. The movie is directed by Guddu Dhanoa and produced by Lalit Kapoor and Raju Narula under the banner of Tridev Arts. After completing his sentence Ajay return home only to find that nothing is the same any his dad and fiancée has committed suicide, his mother is living a destitute life while his sister loses her mental balance and is confined in a mental asylum prompting Ajay to start his own investigations with the help of a police officer whose daughter was one of the rape victims. Gundaraj features Ajay Devgn in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Amrish Puri, Ajay Devgan, Kajol Devgn, Govardhan Asrani, Mohnish Bahl and Mohan Joshi. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik along with Surendra Singh Sodhi and Songs:background Score:. Cinematography was done by Sripad Natu and editing by V.N. Mayekar. It was released on 7th September 1995. Gundaraj was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore.
