The movie is directed by Babubhai Mistri and Babubhai Mistry and produced by Ratan Mohan under the banner of R.M. Art Productions. Hatim Tai is the legendary chief of a small district. He is Known for his generosity, wisdom and courage.. Haatim tai stars Sangeeta Bijlani in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jeetendra Kapoor, Sonu Walia, Satish Shah, Amrish Puri, Alok Nath and Rahul Singh. The music was composed by Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma along with Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Laxmikant Pyarelal. Cinematography was done by K. Vaikunth and editing by Padmakar Nirbhavane.
