Haeuhhwa is a 2016 Korean-language Drama Romance movie written by Ha Young-joon, Jeon Yun-su and Song Hye-jin. The movie is directed by Park Heung-sik and produced by Park Sun-jin under the banner of The Lamp. Two best friends, So-yool and Yeon-hee, dream of becoming the top artists in Seoul together. But their friendship doesn't last long as Yoon-woo, So-yool's first love and songwriter, falls in love with Yeon-hee and her voice. So-yool's feeling of jealousy and inferiority towards Yeon-hee grows by the day, and she eventually makes a drastic decision to bring the two lovers down. Haeuhhwa stars Han Hyo-joo, Chun Woo-hee, Yoo Yeon-seok, Ji-won Choi, Woo-hee Chun, Hyo-ju Han and Yeon-seok Yoo. The music was composed by Lee Byung-hoon. Cinematography was done by Jo Eun-soo and editing by Lee Sang-beom and Lee Jae-beom. The movie has a running time of 120 minutes. It was released on 13th April 2016 in Korean and Japanese languages. The film made a box office gross of $3 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Lotte Entertainment.
