Heavy Metal is a 1981 English-language Animation Adventure movie directed by Gerald Potterton and produced by Ivan Reitman under the banner of Guardian Trust Company in collaboration with Canadian Film Development Corporation, Famous Players and Potterton Productions. Heavy metal features Rodger Bumpass, Jackie Burroughs, John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Don Francks, Martin Lavut and Percy Rodrigues. The screenplay is written by Daniel Goldberg and Len Blum which is inspired from Original art and stories by Richard Corben Angus McKie Dan O'Bannon Thomas Warkentin Bernie Wrightson.
