Hierro is a 2009 Spanish-language Mystery Thriller film written by Javier Gullón, Jesús De La Vega, Jesus De La Vega and Javier Gull N. The movie is directed by Gabe Ibáñez and Gabe Ib Ez and produced by Lvaro August N and Jesus De La Vega under the banner of Madrugada Films in collaboration with Telecinco Cinema, Roxbury Pictures, AXN and User T-38. After her son goes missing, a broken mother returns months later to the island of El Hierro to identify a body. She finds out her son is not the only one missing. Hierro stars Elena Anaya in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Bea Segura, Mar Sodupe, Andrés Herrera, Miriam Correa, Kaiet Rodríguez and Javier Mejía. The music was composed by Zacar As M. De La Riva. Cinematography was done by Alejandro Mart nez and editing by Enrique Garcia. The film has a running time of 91 minutes. It was released on 25th December 2009. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Le Pacte.
