Holiday Inn is a 1942 English-language Comedy Drama motion picture directed by Mark Sandrich and produced by Mark Sandrich under the banner of Paramount Pictures. Lovely Linda Mason has crooner Jim Hardy head over heels, but suave stepper Ted Hanover wants her for his new dance partner after femme fatale Lila Dixon gives him the brush. Jim's supper club, Holiday Inn, is the setting for the chase by Hanover and manager Danny Reed. The music's the thing. Written by Steve Fenwick. Holiday inn stars Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds, Virginia Dale, Walter Abel, Louise Beavers and Dorothy Vernon. The screenplay is written by Claude Binyon.
