Hollywood is a 2002 Telugu-language Sci-Fi Comedy movie written by Upendra, Robert Souza and Ron Shelton. The movie is directed by Ron Shelton and produced by Lou Pitt and Ron Shelton under the banner of Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Revolution Studios. The film is based on the true experiences of Souza, who was a homicide detective in the LAPD Hollywood Division and moonlighted as a real estate broker in his final ten years on the job. Hollywood stars Harrison Ford in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Josh Hartnett, Lena Olin, Bruce Greenwood, Isaiah Washington, Lolita Davidovich and Keith David. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty along with Alex Wurman. Cinematography was done by Barry Peterson and editing by Paul Seydor. The film has a running time of 116 minutes. It was released on 7th March 2002. Hollywood was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $51 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sony Pictures Releasing.
