Hollywoodland is a 2006 English-language Biography Crime movie written by Paul Bernbaum and directed by Allen Coulter and produced by Glenn Williamson under the banner of Focus Features in collaboration with Miramax Films and Back Lot Pictures. A detective examines the mysterious death of George Reeves, the star of the television series Adventures of Superman (1952). Hollywoodland features Adrien Brody, Diane Lane, Ben Affleck, Bob Hoskins, Robin Tunney, Kathleen Robertson and Jennifer Sims. The music was composed by Marcelo Zarvos. Cinematography was done by Jonathan Freeman and editing by Michael Berenbaum. The film has a running time of 127 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $16 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Universal Studios. At the 2006 Venice Film Festival It won an award for Best Actor (Ben Affleck).
