Horror Hotel is a 2010 English-language Thriller motion picture directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and produced by Seymour S. Dorner, Max Rosenberg, Milton Subotsky and Donald Taylor under the banner of Vulcan. While driving at night on a lonely road, the car of estranged couple Don and Nancy is hit twice by another car in the middle of nowhere. Nancy asks for help and unpleasant sheriff Cleveland offers to take them to the nearby Motel Royal Vista and wait until the morning, when their car would be towed. When the couple arrives in the low-budget motel, they are attended by a weird receptionist. They are disturbed by noises and screams from inside the next room and Don asks them to keep quiet since his wife and he are tired and need to rest. But soon they realize that they are part of a sick and deadly game, and their lives are threatened. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Horror hotel stars Christopher Lee in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Venetia Stevenson, Betta St. John, Dennis Lotis, Valentine Dyall, Patricia Jessel and David James Elliott. The screenplay is written by George Baxt. The music was composed by Douglas Gamley along with Ken Jones. Cinematography was done by Desmond Dickinson and editing by John Pomeroy. The movie has a running time of 76 minutes. Horror Hotel was made on a budget of $2 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by British Lion.
