Jaan is a 1996 Hindi-language Action Romance film written by Kamlesh Pandey and Ranbir Pushp. The movie is directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Ashok Ghai under the banner of Beyond Dreams Entertainment in collaboration with Inspire Films Private Limited. Police Commisioner Suryadev Singh appoints Karan as Kajal's bodyguard as she is facing danger from Vishamber. But the truth is, Karan is Vishamber's man who is sent to kill Kajal. Jaan stars Ajay Devgn, Amrish Puri, Twinkle Khanna, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Ajay Devgan and Pinky Chinoy. The screenplay is written by Ranbir Pushp. The music was composed by Anand Milind.
