Janani Janmabhoomi is a 1984 Telugu-language Drama Action movie written by Hr Bhargava and D. V. Narasa Raju. The movie is directed by Hr Bhargava and K. Viswanath and produced by K. Kesava Rao under the banner of Sri Bramharambika Films. Janani janmabhoomi features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sumalatha, Satyanarayana, Sharada, Saroja Devi B., Rashika and Vishnuvardhan Kumar. The screenplay is written by K. Viswanath. The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan. Cinematography was done by Kasthuri and editing by G. G. Krishna Rao. The motion picture has a running time of 148 minutes. It was released on 20th June 1984. Ramesh, a rich irresponsible man, travels to America and returns back a changed man with immense love for his country. But he faces several challenges as he sets out to reform the society.
