Jawani Jaaneman is a 2020 Hindi-language Comedy Drama film written by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. The movie is directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Deepshika Deshmukh, Jay Shewakramani, Saif Ali Khan, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh under the banner of Pooja Entertainment in collaboration with Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films. A remake of the 2010 Argentine comedy Igualita a mi, the film stars Khan and debutante Alaya Furniturewala in the lead roles and explores the story of Jazz, a property broker and party-animal in London, who has to confront a daughter he never knew he had, who is also pregnant. Jawani jaaneman features Saif Ali Khan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Alaya F, Tabu Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Chunky Pandey, Chloé Booyens and Charlotte Dunnico. The screenplay is written by Juan Vera and Daniel C paro which is inspired from Igualita a m by Diego Kaplan. The music was composed by Prem Hardeep along with Roshan Singh, Ketan Sodha, Gourov-roshin, Tanishk Bagchi and Prem-hardeep. Cinematography was done by Manoj Kumar Khatoi and editing by Sachindra Vats and Chandan Arora. The film has a running time of 115 minutes. It was released on 31st January 2020. Jawani Jaaneman was made on a budget of ₹40 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹44 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Pen Marudhar Entertainment.
