Jaydev is a 2001 Hindi-language Action movie. Jaydev is a story of a honest citizen and his fight against the law and corrupt politicians. Jaydev is out to seek revenge for his brother who was eliminated due to the corrupt system. Jaydev features Ishrat Ali in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ramesh Bhatkar, Sulabha Deshpande, Avtar Gill, Jeetendra Kapoor, Alok Nath and Mahesh Raj. It was released on 25th May 2001. Jaydev was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹10 lakh.
