Jayikkanai Janichavan is a 1978 Malayalam-language Drama film written by M. P. Rajeevan and Sreekumaran Thampi. The movie is directed by J Sasikumar and J. Sasikumar and produced by Sreekumaran Thampi under the banner of Bhavani Rajeswari. Jayikkanai janichavan features Prem Nazir in the title role along with an ensemble cast including M. G. Soman, Jayan, Sheela, Jagathy Sreekumar, Adoor Bhasi and Manavalan Joseph. The screenplay is written by Sreekumaran Thampi. The music was composed by M. K. Arjunan. Cinematography was done by Ashok Kumar and editing by K. Sankunni. It was released on 1st January 1978. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Bhavani Rajeswari.
