Je suis Charlie is a 2015 French-language Documentary film written and directed by Daniel Leconte and Emmanuel Leconte and produced by Daniel Leconte. On January 7th, 2015, the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo was the first target in a series of deadly terrorist attacks. This new documentary pays tribute to the victims and explores the resulting aftermath of a changed nation. Je suis charlie stars Elisabeth Badinter in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Gérard Biard, Marisa Bret, Cabu, Charb, Corinne Rey and Antonio Fischetti. Cinematography was done by Damien Girault, Pierre Isnardon and Edouard Kruch and editing by Gr goire Chevalier-Naud. It was released on 16th December 2015.
